We invite you to participate in the first international launch of The Lancet’s 2022 South American Report Countdown to Health and Climate Change. The event was organized by The Lancet Countdown South America, the Latin American Center of Excellence in Climate Change and Health of the Peruvian University of Caetano Heredia and the Pan American Health Organization.
The Lancet Countdown South America exists as a collaboration between academic institutions and international organizations that are based in Lima, Peru and represent a wide range of disciplines. The launch has a triple objective: to disseminate scientific evidence on how climate change is affecting the health of South America, encourage commitment from countries and people in the region, and challenge countries to respond with concrete, evidence-based action. the introduction.
