The Ministry of Health held a fumigation day at the Jose Hilario Lopez Gallery
Buenaventura, DE, March 14, 2024. Reducing dengue and malaria is a priority for the District Health Secretariat.
Through fumigation days, breeding site monitoring and prevention talks, the Buenaventura Health Secretariat helps populations at risk of vector-borne diseases.
On this occasion, the fumigation team of the regional entity was present at the Jose Hilario Lopez Fair in the Pueblo Nuevo sector.
“We have implemented fumigation days in different municipalities. On this occasion we intervened at the José Hilario Fair to support the cleaning of the toilets carried out by the administration,” said Amparo Martínez, an official at the Ministry of Health.
It is worth noting that if you develop any symptoms of these diseases, you should go to the nearest health center to receive timely care.
