After School Programs in Chelsea – NBC Boston

The summer is coming to a close and the City of Chelsea’s Department of Leisure and Culture has announced programs and events for the fall-winter season, which will engage hundreds of young people in multiple activities to choose from at once during the late afternoon school days.

“These recreations start at 4 pm and end at 8 pm and are conducted at William’s School, and when you register at Clark School it begins next week on September 13, you can go to William’s School and there you can get full information on all the programs out there and if you don’t You can go to the city’s website and check the hours and days of karate, there’s ballet, there’s a series of activities with art, that is, there’s a variety for example going to figure skating, said Lourdes Alvarez, a Chelsea spokeswoman. They have English lessons at different levels.

Activities such as ice skating, crafts, sports tournaments, leaders club in collaboration with the YMCA and exploration through art are some of the new programs to benefit young people and thus take advantage of their free time.

Registration begins on Tuesday, September 13th.
