Águilas Cibaeñas scored his fourth win in the Dominican League by beating Leones de Escondido

Wendolyn Bautista contained Leones del Esgido’s bats through a tight relay and Águilas Cibaeñas won 5-3 on Monday to improve their winning streak in the Dominican Baseball League to four.

Bautista allowed one hit in four powerful goalless rounds with four strokes to claim victory. The setback went to Denny Reyes’ record, as she rocked by four runs and six strokes in two and two-thirds.

Johan Camargo went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Ezequiel Durán went 1 for 5 with a double and two RBIs for the winners.

At San Pedro de Macoris, Yeison Asencio advanced 3-on-3 with a double and two RBI to lead the Tigres del Licey to their fourth straight win, 3-1 over Estrellas Orientales.

Arodys Vizcaíno retired from the goalless inning with two knockouts to win the match, and Dayeison Arias lost it after allowing twice in two-thirds of the inning.

In San Francisco de Macoris, the Toros del Este beat Gigantes del Cibao 6-5. Wandisson Charles allowed a one-stroke break in one inning to win the match while Jose Rafael Diaz lost by giving up two strokes and running in two-thirds of the inning.

Tigres del Licey leads the tournament with a score of 17-6, followed by Águilas Cibaeñas (19-7), Gigantes del Cibao (11-13), Estrellas Orientales (10-15), Toros del Este (9-15) and Lions Mukhtar (7- 17).
