Milwaukee — Austin Riley hits his fifth home run in the last four games, Orlando Arcia added another home run and the Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-4 Friday night.
Riley drove in two runs on his four-corner drive in the third inning. He added a single and a run in the fifth as the Braves won this game between the division leaders.
In his last four games, Riley was 8-for-17 with 13 RBI. He hit a three-run shot Thursday in the eighth inning of a 7-5 win over Arizona.
Arcia hit a two-run homer as part of a three-run second inning. Thus, the Braves wiped out a 2-0 deficit.
Willie Adams hit a two-run homer for Milwaukee’s lead in the NL Central. Atlanta leads east.
For the Braves, the Venezuelans scored Ronald Acuña Jr. 5-0, Archia 3-1 with one run and two goals scored. Dominican Marcel Ozuna lead it 3-0 with two RBIs. Puerto Rico Eddie Rosario 4-0.
For the Brewers, Venezuela’s William Contreras is 4-2 with two runs scored and an RBI record, Andrew Monasterio is 3-0. Dominican Adames 4-1 with a run scored and two RBIs, Raimel Tapia 1-0. Puerto Rico Victor Caratini 4-0.
