Artificial intelligence engine to help New Zealand’s Predator Free campaign

A new artificial intelligence (AI) trap has been set to target possums, rats and weasels to help New Zealand’s predator-free campaign. Developed by Critter Solutions, this innovative trap is designed to protect local birds by only activating when a pest is detected. The device is currently being trialled in Auckland and the Coromandel, with funding from the Government’s Nature for Jobs initiative.
