Roberto Bautista did his duty and scored an important victory for Spain. The captain of the first team, Sergei Bruguera, fulfilled the expected script and took the victory over his Serbian counterpart, Miomir Kekmanovic. The duel was filled with tension and a lot of pressure during all of its parts.

The match was very close to the start. Kikmanovic managed to break the Spaniard’s serve at the first opportunity. However, the man from Castellon did not leave him and continued to fight behind him. Finally, in the middle of the first round, he managed to replay the first half and tied the score. Thus, the confrontation continued until the first release of the tiebreak, which fell on the part of Robert.

The second cover was really similar. However, it was Bautista who started by breaking his opponent’s serve and took the lead well into the group.
