Brian “Destructor” Mercado was one of Cruz Azul’s main forces, but economic problems made him change his scene to enter boxing and discover his true passion.

Magwaka, a fighter with a remarkable life story, on January 18, 2018, was the victim of a break-in and robbery that left him shot in the leg. The bullet shattered his femur and his future in the sport seemed uncertain at the time.

There will be six previous fights offered by the card in Fresnillo for Box Televisa, with the semi-main event being Luis ‘Peluchín’ Araujo vs. Luis ‘Peluchín’ Araujo. Martín ‘El Diablo’ Tecuapetla has grabbed some of the spotlight in the bantamweight division.
