Crafting Culture, November 19 (EFE). Eddie Vader, singer and composer for the popular band Pearl Jam, will release a new solo album “Earthling” on February 11, his record company announced on Friday.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning Andrew Watt, it will be the first solo album signed by this American artist since his 2011 work, “Ukulele Songs”.

Also among his recent works is his active participation in the soundtrack for the film “Day of the Flag”, directed and starring Sean Penn, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival (France) with eight songs that he composed together to Glenn Hansard.

From “Earthling”, the pre-sale of which is already active, two songs can already be heard on digital platforms: “The Haves” and “The Long Way”.

Together with Pearl Jam in 2020, he released the band’s last studio album, “Gigaton”, which was the rock group’s first album after a 7-year hiatus.

Vader specifically plans to participate in this album’s presentation tour throughout 2022, which has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will start on June 14 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and will include a total of 17 stations in Europe through July, none of which are in Spain. EFE
