Eleven centers in the health district already have a local health plan

Yesterday, the Director General of Health Planning and Reform of the Ministry of Health, Sofia Lopez Linares, visited the Marin Health Center, which last week signed an agreement to obtain a local health plan 2024-2027.

In this way, the Naval Medical Facilities join dozens of other outpatient clinics in the health district of Pontevedra and O Salnes that are part of this initiative, which, according to Sergas, seeks to promote “the primary care model with a call to the community, where priority is given to the integration of health centers.” In the social fabric, identifying neighborhood associations, housing and schools… to create synergy in protection and health care.”

In the Pontevedra region, in addition to the Marin Health Center, there are three outpatient clinics belonging to the local health plan: Lérez, A Parda and Virxe Peregrina. The person from Caldas has also recently joined them.

For his part, López Linares emphasized that these health plans “serve as a guide in resource planning, especially to enhance the value of the teams,” in addition to allowing them to “highlight strengths such as primary care homes” in the care and monitoring of chronic patients.
