Enrique Gomez: Why do you denounce the Minister of Health, Carolina Curco? – Parties – Politics

National Salvation Movement director Enrique Gomez has filed a complaint against the Minister of Health, Carolina Cork.

The former presidential candidate says so The official committed two crimes: evasion by omission and economic panic.

According to Gómez, Corcho has evaded “by unjustifiably delaying the Second Amendment to the 2021 price cap and refusing to manage and pay Resources to make timely payments to EPS and EOC for amounts in their favor corresponding to the 2021 Third Settlement.”

He adds that the minister did not address the amendment of the maximum budgets for last year.

Among the reasons for his denunciation, Gomez states that in total there are 1.6 trillion pesos allegedly refused to pay EPS and have already been assumed as operating costs for the “willful deterioration” of its financial statements.

According to Gomez, this will prevent EPS from passing the assessments that the health watchdog will conduct in July.

Finally, he argues that the official generated “economic panic” with his statement to “end EPS,” which Gomez rates as “irresponsible” and “reckless.”

According to the former candidate, his interventions in this regard have led to the desire of users, shareholders, investors and service providers to withdraw subsidies from the health system.

Finally, Gomez is asking the attorney general’s office and judges to “judge this false way of doing politics” which, he says, aims to destroy the current health system.
