Felix Plasencia appointed as Venezuela’s new foreign minister

After knowing the dates, Ariza welcomed the appointment of Felix Plasencia as the new Chancellor of the Republic, and endorsed all the support given to him in the exercise of his functions.

Maduro announced several changes to his cabinet, prompted by the appointment of some of its members as candidates for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the November 21 provincial and municipal elections.

The Venezuelan president has appointed the current governor of Monagas, Ylesi Santaela, as head of the Ministry of Education. At the Ministry of the Interior and Justice, he appointed retired Admiral Remigio Ceballos, who until July served as Chief of Staff of the Strategic Operations Command of the Venezuelan Armed Forces (Sivanp).

Similarly, Margod Godoy appointed Minister for Women and Equality, and William Serrantes Pinto as Minister for Ecological Mining Development.
