These are 189 transport vehicles, 61 emergency vehicles and 94 four-wheel drive units obtained through the health portfolio with a total investment of $26,144,383.

Of the 344 ambulances, seven were delivered to Ramon Carrillo Hospital in San Martin de los Andes, Neuquen, during the opening of the new building presided over by the president last week; The remaining 337 will be distributed during this month to all jurisdictions in the country.

Official sources indicated that the Ministry of Health is implementing a plan to rebuild the health system throughout the national territory, which increases investment in the provision of health equipment and infrastructure works.

The aim is to strengthen health services to meet the demand received in the treatment of diseases that have been postponed during the pandemic.

The project provides tools for jurisdictions, such as refurbishing transportation vehicles to enhance the health system’s response with high-quality equipment, with a federal concept of health and an emphasis on access, quality and equity.
