FIFA has confirmed the schedule for the Women’s World Cup Australia-New Zealand 2023

This week, the company released the schedule for the 9th edition of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be held jointly in Australia and New Zealand.

The opening ceremony of the event, which will feature 32 teams and 64 matches, will take place on July 20, 2023 at Eden Park Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. For its part, the final will be played on August 20 at the Australia Stadium in Sydney / Gadikal.

As the host team, New Zealand will finish first in Group A, while Australia will be seen in Group B.

The tournament will be held at ten venues in nine cities. Australia will play six group stage matches and New Zealand five.

According to reports, the 16th round match will be played between the two countries from August 5 to 8. The same situation will be seen in the quarterfinals.

Already in the final round of the Cup, both Australia and New Zealand will play in the semi-finals, which will be held at the Australian Stadium and Eden Park, respectively, while the match for third place will be played at the Australian Stadium. Brisbane.

FIFA explained that the pairs and tables of each match will be available after the draw, the date of which will be confirmed later.
