Frances Tiafoe has appointed an Argentine as the new coach

After three years of working with Wayne Ferreira, Frances Tiafoe (No. 16 in the ATP World Ranking) decided to change coaches. The person chosen to replace the South African in his position was the Argentine Diego Moyano.

The 48-year-old coach previously worked with Kevin Anderson (2020 until May 2022) and Coco Gauff (2022 until April 2023).. Additionally, he was a coach at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and worked there alongside Tommy Paul, Riley Opelka and others.

Through his social networks, Tiafoe Moyano presented: “I am happy to announce that I will start 2k24 with Diego Moyano who coaches me. Man, you are working hell out of me, but I can’t make it worth it. Let’s get busy next year.

The American will start the 2024 season at the ATP 250 tournament in Hong Kong. There will be the third seed, surpassed only by Russians Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov. He will then travel to Australia to compete in the first Grand Slam tournament of the season starting on January 14.
