Harry’s brutal attack on his family in Netflix documentary about the Prince of England

Harry’s brutal attack on his family in Netflix documentary about the Prince of England

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second major documentary project has finally arrived on Netflix. “Heart of Invictus,” a five-part series following international competitors for the 2022 Invictus Games, has premiered on the streaming service. Will Prince Harry use the series to criticize his brother, Prince William? Will this be another attempt by Harry and Meghan to air their grievances about the British royal family on the world stage?

Netflix

“Heart of Invictus” is a very different docu-series on Netflix than “Harry & Meghan” last winter. Of course, Prince Harry occasionally speaks to the camera and opens up about his struggles with mental health, but neither the Duke nor the Duchess of Sussex is the main focus. Instead, members of the Royal Family offer their services and contacts to spread the stories of former soldiers struggling to adapt to civilian life after suffering physical and mental trauma. The majority of “Heart of Invictus” is dedicated to athletes Gabriel “Gabby” George, Tom Folwell, Na Hyung-yun, Kaspar Holm-Henriksen, Daryl Ling, and Yulia “Tyra” Bayevska (whose story takes a tragic turn when she is called upon to join the ranks in his native Ukraine on the eve of the 2022 Invictus Games). The stories of these athletes will move you and their emotional transformations will motivate you.

Of course, this does not mean that there are no photos of the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not be the focus of Heart of Invictus, but they play a very important role.

New hints from Prince Harry on Netflix

Each former soldier tells his story, tales and experiences in war. But in the end, it is the prince who becomes the unwitting protagonist as he recounts his own experiences in Afghanistan and his return in 2008: “My biggest struggle was realizing that no one around me could help me. “I had no support or counseling network to figure out what “It was happening to me.”

His problems began, as he admits and has recounted on more than one occasion, after the death of Diana Wells on August 31, 1997: “I was never aware of the trauma of losing my mother at such a young age.” He says in the documentary. He added: “This matter was not discussed or talked about. “During all those years I didn’t have any feelings, I couldn’t cry, I couldn’t feel… Suddenly I hit the ground face first and now I feel everything instead of being young.”
