Health recognizes the work of midwives in Izabal

Izabal, Jul 7 (AGN). In recognition of their work in protecting the health of expectant mothers and their babies, 613 midwives received from Izabal an incentive of 3000 quetzales.

The economic contribution is regulated in the Law on the State General Budget for the fiscal year 2022, which was approved by the Congress of the Republic last year. Under this mandate, the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS) The operation was carried out for the benefit.
