Puebla City, Pue. – The current government of Sergio Salomon, through the Ministry of Health, reports that in the last 24 hours, the number of people hospitalized with dengue fever has reached three.

The head of the agency, Araceli Soria Cordoba, said that as of December 27, there had been no infections or deaths due to this virus, which is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

He also explained that there are 3,165 accumulated confirmed cases and six deaths in 108 municipalities. In this sense, he called on residents of affected areas to go to the doctor if they develop symptoms such as fever, nausea, or rash, so that they can receive appropriate treatment.

Puebla maintains two active cases of COVID-19

Regarding the monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 in the entity, the Chief of Health Services announced that there are two active cases in the state, located in the municipalities of Puebla and San Pedro Cholula.

As of December 27, there were no new infections, deaths, or hospitalizations due to this virus.
