ICP DAS partners with IoT software provider Exosite to deliver an ‘ExoWISE’ solution

TAIPEI, Jan. 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — ICP DAS, a leading manufacturer of industrial automation equipment, is pleased to announce its new ExoWISE solution. The creation of ExoWISE is the result of a new partnership with Exosite, an enterprise software company and market-leading provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms. The new solution takes advantage of the ExoSense® remote state monitoring application and the Murano® IIoT platform running on the AWS infrastructure with native device connectivity from the DAS WISE-5231 ICP gateway. Exosite’s Murano platform provides excellent cryptographic and authorization cloud security management.

As long as customers use the standard Modbus protocol, the ICP DAS WISE-5231 IIoT Border Gateway can connect to an ExoWISE solution. Once connected, the WISE-5231 can immediately start sending data to the cloud platform for remote monitoring and control of many industrial applications, allowing users to view dashboards with real-time data and equipment status, apart from receiving notifications, managing user access, creating reports. The main function of WISE-5231 is to connect peripheral devices to the Internet and act as a bridge between devices and the cloud. These features are a great differentiator compared to standard SCADA systems.
