The company did not specify the location of the installation, but said that there were blackouts in the Ukrainian capital, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernigov, Cherkassy, ​​Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkov and Poltava provinces.

No energy system has been as seriously damaged as Ukraine’s energy industry since October 10, when Russian aviation and missiles launched massive air strikes against Ukraine’s command, energy and communications facilities, Okrango said.

In Kyiv and in many districts of the Slavic country, planned and emergency power outages occurred for days as a result of damage to energy infrastructure during intense missile and drone attacks on October 10, 11, 17, 22 and 2 November. .

The first of these was carried out by Russia in response to the terrorist attack that destroyed part of the bridge of the Kerch Strait in Crimea, killing four.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky estimated that the attacks caused severe damage to 40 percent of the country’s energy system.
