LLYC appoints its second shareholder, Alejandro Romero, as Chief Executive Officer Economie

Romero, who has managed the Americas region so far, is a partner and second shareholder in the consulting firm, where he has been in business for 26 years. The company’s founder, Jose Antonio Llorente, remains the company’s CEO. For his part, Juan Carlos Joser will lead the organization in Latin America.

The company indicates that these changes seek to strengthen the management structure of the company, immersed in an ambitious growth plan –It was released to the public last year– , in addition to continuing to enhance the professional functions of some of the most valuable professionals and corporate governance while adjusting it to the standards of the latest listed companies. Although LLYC planned to carry out this operation at the end of next year, Llorente says, his personal circumstances advised bringing the procedures forward.

Juan Carlos Joser will replace Romero in Latin America. LLYC’s new CEO for Latin America is a partner of the company and was, until Friday’s announcement, the company’s director of operations in the region. According to the statement, he specializes in reputation management and communication strategies. During his 15 years with the company, he has coordinated numerous strategic positioning projects in Latin America and led the development of LLYC’s operations in Brazil and the Southern Region, which includes Argentina and Chile.
