Manolito Simonet and Trabuco in the United States, a passion for Cuban music

The general producer of the group’s current tour in various American cities on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, Dunaire in an interview with Prensa Latina, expressed his delight at the way the audience greets her at each presentation.

“Manolito celebrated 30 years of his artistic career in the United States, I think it’s a blessing,” he said of this tour, which “started off nicely.”

With nearly 10 years working to promote Caribbean country music in the United States, Donaire owes, among his most recent endeavors, the Pupi y Los que Son Orchestra’s tour, in 2022.

Regarding Manolito’s show in New York, he confirmed that they will play in one of the most legendary places, where the stars have passed and expected to be at full capacity.

He said that Cuban music is loved in New York and this “makes me think that on the day of the concert on Friday as many people will arrive as we did in Miami”.

A number of people crowded the entrance door as the orchestra performed there in Miami, and “there were a lot of Cubans who really love their music in spite of everything,” he asserted.

Manolito y su Trabuco hardly has time to rest, and they are going to give 12 concerts, three of which have already taken place.

Prior to that, they have commitments in Los Angeles, San Francisco (California), and in Seattle (Washington); In addition to those planned in New York and Atlanta (Georgia).

Composer, arranger and pianist, Manolito Simone, once expressed that he orchestrated trabico with all the musical heritage and praised it because his orchestra is undoubtedly one of the most representative of Cuban folk music.
