Microsoft dará de baja cuentas de Hotmail inactivas

Microsoft will delete millions of Hotmail accounts

Mexico /

If you are one of those people who has moved to Yahoo or Gmail and has a Hotmail, Live, Outlook or MSA account, this message is for you, because Microsoft will start closing all the accounts of these servers, but don’t worry, only those who haven’t logged in activity at least once in period of two years.

This will be due to the entry into force of the new activity policy announced by Redmond in July 2019; However, some accounts that meet some exceptions will not be affected.

Hotmail has changed its name repeatedly, in 25 years it has passed through Outlook and Live, among other things, tied to a Microsoft account, which is the gateway to all Redmond company’s services, including Windows, Xbox and Office.

Over time, some accounts became inactive, either because they moved to another messaging service or because users do not have access to their email, so Microsoft decided to update its activity policy.

The policy states that all accounts that have been inactive for two years as of August 30, 2019, will be deleted, so on August 30, 2021, many accounts can be gone.
