Music unites Spain and Cuba at the Un Puente hacia La Habana festival

Music unites Spain and Cuba at the Un Puente hacia La Habana festival

The José Antonio Echeverría Club 500 in Havana, venue for the event that culminates this Sunday, will be a partner in the art that the Iberian duo Amistades Peligrosas and the national artists Buena Fe, Jotabarrioz and Karamba, founder and promoter of the event, will show on stage.

The Spanish band composed of Cristina del Valle and Alberto Comesaña announces exclusively to Prensa Latina that they will be performing songs that mark their career, including “Africanos en Madrid”, “Quítame este velo” and “I will stay alone” which, without a doubt, for some, becomes a hymn to many Cubans.

“We will make friends in their purest form with a colossal group for the love, strength and energy they transmit, giving themselves body and soul to this project that belongs to everyone, and that can only be appreciated in Cuba. What we found here is what we expected.”

The group’s female voice expressed that the festival will bring together artists from around the world with one common point: music.

He pointed out that it constitutes a transformative element that moves cultures and consciences, and that it is also a form of interaction between different concepts and rhythms, and I believe that the event will bring together many people because of the diversity of styles it enjoys.

The day before, Cuban musicians Haila Maria Mombi, Will Campa and Toque del Rio took the stage with the young Spanish artist Sanko.

Meanwhile, the national talents Isaac Delgado, Michael Blanco y su Salsa Mayor and Alex Duvall will conclude on Sunday the eleventh edition of the festival which, since 2008, stands as a musical platform in favor of cultural exchange between Cuba and other countries. From the world
