National programs work to strengthen the health system

The meeting, chaired by the Provincial Minister of Health, Fabian Zogheib, the Federal Undersecretary for Coordination, Veronica Di Cristofaro, and the National Director for the Strengthening of Regional Systems, Martin Manafra, aims to work with the various references in operations. And the new SUMAR+ software integration and implementation tools.

During the opening, Minister Zgheib highlighted the importance of the work of each of the programs to reach the entire population with health care and explained that these sessions are “a review of what has been worked on in this health policy strategy throughout these years, and we will work to achieve integration between the three programs.”

“This is one of the health financing strategies to reach the health centers and populations that need it most,” he added, stressing that “this is very important not only in Rio Negro, but throughout the country. It is one of the strategies that one would like to continue.” Years passed.

Finally, with regard to program integration, he noted that “the needs and societies today are different and we have to adapt to the tools and what the Ministry of Health provides in the country and the governorates, and this is the right time to do so.”

For his part, Cristofaro explained that the conference aims to work on the regional approach to public policies with a new concept and integration of programs.

In this sense, he pointed out that it is necessary to listen to each representative and know how he works in each governorate. “It is their work that makes it possible for these policies to reach the region and also be able to modify some of the issues that have to do with program implementation.”

On the other hand, he explained, “What is collected with the programs, and in the exchange that takes place with the community, is health data. The new SUMAR+ comes to manage that data, which is what builds public policies. It is knowing the condition of people, why they get sick, because in one area there is a certain specificity with respect to another area.

Finally, he pointed to the challenges facing the next phase of management and expressed that these challenges aim to humanize and integrate the health system in a collaborative and supportive manner.

Programs in Rio Negro

During the meeting, representatives of each program in Rio Negro shared with their peers the work being carried out in the province. In this sense, they shared their successful experiences and good practices within the framework of the integration of programs of the National Directorate for the Strengthening of Territorial Systems (DNFSP).

In addition, working tables were held on innovation and continuity in the regional systems strengthening strategy, and on the processes and tools that the new program will add.
