Neighborhood councils: schedule of prevention and health promotion – Web de Noticias

• Activities will be held this week in five districts of the capital.
• Tests for sexually transmitted diseases, vaccination and educational talks will be conducted.

The governorate’s Ministry of Health continues to participate in the prevention activities proposed by the neighborhood councils, which depend on the Ministry of Community Cohesion, Protocol and Communication.

During the week, vaccination activities (both calendar and Covid-19) and tests for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis will be carried out, as well as activities around healthy eating and oral health.

Neighborhood Prevention and Coexistence Councils are meeting spaces made up of neighbours, neighbors, neighborhood centers, NGOs, CSOs, educational centers, health centers, neighborhood sports clubs and schools.

It also engages religious beliefs, work cooperatives, business representatives, canteens, and milk mugs, as well as members of county and municipal governments to work together to build a safer and more inclusive society.
