The University of Pablo de Olavide (UPO) and the University of Seville in cooperation with the Ibero-American Association of Graduate Studies (AUIP) are opening their invitations for scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies in both educational institutions.

The UPO program funds 15 scholarships to undertake formal master’s degree studies at the University of Pablo de Olavide targeting students, professors, and graduates legally residing in countries other than Spain, associated with AUIP-linked Latin American universities, among which all Cuban universities are included.

For its part, the University of Seville funds 10 master’s scholarships also targeting universities outside the Spanish nation, which also includes university centers on the Caribbean island.

As usual in this type of application, those interested must have a degree that allows the exporting country access to master’s studies. Scholarship applicants may also indicate, in order of preference, up to three master’s degrees of interest.

The scholarships will fund accommodation in the university residences. They also include hospital medical and accident insurance, as well as support for living expenses.

The admission period for these scholarships will open until April 11, 2022 at 11:59 PM (Pensins Time). In addition to the selected fellows, a list of substitutes will be drawn up to cover vacancies or resignations that may occur during the procedure. Likewise, the scholarships will cover the face-to-face part and the compulsory part for a maximum of 11 months.

Once registered, applicants must attach online registration documents such as a copy of the passport, a copy of the degree qualification certificate, Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent title giving access to Master’s studies stating the grade point average achieved in the applicable ranking in Spain, which depends On 10 points, a copy of a graduate degree, graduate, engineer, architect or equivalent, a CV as per the form submitted, a letter of reference signed by a top academic body, preferably the rector or vice president of the university with which the applicant is associated .
