The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Friday that Israeli attacks killed at least 31 people and injured 56 others in Gaza during the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that the death toll as a result of the Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 has now exceeded 35,300 people, in addition to 79,261 wounded. CNN was unable to verify the ministry’s figures, which do not distinguish between combatants and civilian casualties.

It also does not include in its numbers the thousands of people missing in Gaza since October 7.

Civil defense officials and local journalists said on Friday that Israeli attacks on the Strip led to the death of at least 10 people and the injury of others.

An air strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip killed at least six people, according to civil defense officials who arrived at the scene and evacuated many of the wounded. The Jabalia area, north of the Gaza Strip, has witnessed intense combat operations in recent days. A hospital in northern Gaza received several bodies and many wounded after the Israeli attacks on Thursday, according to a CNN collaborator who was at the scene.

During Thursday night and into Friday, continuous gunfire was heard in Jabalia, according to area residents.
