During the meeting, the two owners evaluated joint business opportunities in the field of gas, its use as a transitional fuel to reduce environmental impact, and its use as a raw material in the petrochemical industry.

The ministers also discussed opportunities for technological exchange and academic training in the field of energy, which would contribute to deepening cooperation mechanisms between the two countries, as the Ministry of Petroleum indicated on its website.
