Palestinian authorities on Thursday denounced Israel’s attempts to cut off communication between East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi al-Hadmi, denounced the colonial Jewish strategy that intends to unfold in that land at the expense of the Arab citizens.

He also called on the international community to take a stand against this policy, which violates the rights of citizens and international law.

For his part, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, called on the international community to oppose the Tel Aviv aggression, which is trying to expand forces in the capital to consolidate its regime.

As an example of Israeli behavior in relation to this land, we can cite more than 1,860 orders to demolish Palestinian buildings and threats to demolish entire neighborhoods.

Al-Bustan, Wadi Yasoul and Ain Al-Lawzeh are some of the areas most affected by the systematic attacks on property, said activist Fakhry Abu Diab.

Last Tuesday, the colonial army demolished two Palestinian homes for allegedly killing a security guard in a clash in the occupied West Bank.

Incidentally, many members of the Israeli forces take advantage of the registration of Arab lands to transfer them to their names and expel their owners.

The main objective of the Israelis is to compel the Arabs, and to suppress their customs and livelihood, to force them to move and leave the area.
