Patricia Fuertes releases her ninth and most intimate album “Alma Latina” | Lights

Peruvian singer-songwriter Patricia Fuertes has released her ninth album, “Alma Latina,” a compilation of ten original songs and four ballads that transition between musical genres such as sonn, cumbia, salsa and bolero, and where she also shows off her vein as a composer with very intimate and personal lyrics.

Since its launch, it has reached more than 1.9 million streams to date, more than 500 thousand listeners around the world and more than a thousand followers on the Spotify platform.

The pandemic caused artists to search for different ways to continue creating and producing their work, and it was no different for Patricia Fuertes who, even with the inconvenience caused by the health situation, was able to overcome it and give life to this production where it was the main theme. “Chapuca’s Flowers”, written and composed by Patricia Fuertes and Manolo Palacios, in honor of Maria Isabel Granda y Larco, our beloved Chapuca Granda.

With the participation of famous national musicians, Patricia shows us her research on popular music and lyrical music.

During the more than 20 years of her career, Patricia Fuertes has been involved with famous artists and groups, including Mario Cavagnaro, Quartetto Mixtura, Tito Manrique, David Alvarez Palacios, Manolo Palacios, Moncho Calderon, and others.

She participated in many national and international events of different genres and styles (jazz, bossa nova, peruvian, world and latin music), which led her to walk her art on stage in different countries and reap victories and recognition as COBUID Min de Education and the representative of Peru in the RFI competition International Radio France International (as a member of Mixtura Quartet) and qualified as “Lady of Latin Jazz” by the online magazine Jazz Caribe.

“Alma Latina” is found on all music platforms with its encapsulated proposal which has already attracted more listeners.
