Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra had her first mother’s day with her baby born in january.
She and singer Nick Jonas had to face major challenges after the baby girl, who was born as a surrogate, had to spend her first 100 days in the pediatric intensive care unit.
Yesterday, Priyanka posted a photo on Instagram of her and Nick holding the baby whose face she hid with a heart emoji.
In her letter, Priyanka expressed her happiness to have her little girl named Malti Marie at home.
“This Mother’s Day we can’t stop thinking about the past few months and the roller coaster we’ve been in, which we know now, and which so many people have experienced as well. After more than 100 days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique. It requires a certain level of belief, and while our journey has been challenging over the past few months, what is absolutely clear in hindsight is how valuable and perfect each moment is.”
