Russia expects the full operation of the trading house in Cuba

Chairman of the Russian-Cuban Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boris Titov, today expressed hope that the Russian Trade House in Cuba will soon be fully operational.

According to what the director on Monday told the digital newspaper Forpost Sebastopol, he hopes that the Rosmarkt trading house will soon switch to this status and that Cubans will be able to see their goods not only at the exhibition at the Havana International Fair.

Titov noted that the Cuban capital hosted the 39th International Multi-Sector Exhibition, one of the largest exhibition events in Latin America.

“Russian participation this year was particularly notable. The Russian-Cuban Business Council, which I chair, acted as co-organizer, and about 24 Russian manufacturers participated directly.”

“VIHAF 2023” was held from November 6 to 11 in 25 pavilions at the ExpoCopa exhibition complex, on an area of 600,000 square meters in the southern suburbs of the Cuban capital.

The event was attended by company representatives from more than 60 countries, including Brazil, Venezuela, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Mexico, Russia and France.

The fair has been organized since 1983 with the assistance of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.
