Russian air defense intercepts five Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian Army's air defense forces intercepted and destroyed five drones of Ukrainian origin over the Bryansk region late on Saturday. The Russian authorities said in a preliminary statement: “At approximately 11:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Ukrainian regime to carry out a terrorist attack using a drone against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped.” A message posted on his official Telegram account. Specifically, “air defense systems that were in service on the territory of the Bryansk region” destroyed three Ukrainian drones. Moments later, the Ministry of Defense, in a second message, reported another attack attempt by the Ukrainian army in the same area. On this occasion, “the service’s air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian drones.” These new attacks come after the Russian Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed up to 68 Ukrainian drones over the Krasnodar and Crimean regions during the early hours of Saturday, as the Russian Defense Ministry also reported.
