Samsung Electronics expands its Odyssey gaming monitor line with new OLED models at CES 2024 – Samsung Newsroom Egypt

The new models include the Odyssey OLED G8, the Odyssey OLED G6, and the updated Odyssey OLED G9.

Samsung Electronics today announced new Odyssey OLED gaming displays that will debut at CES® 2024, the world's largest technology event owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, taking place in Las Vegas next week.

New OLED models deliver the performance and visual clarity gamers look for in their displays, and include the Odyssey OLED G9 (model name: Odyssey OLED G8 (model number: G80SD)) and the Odyssey OLED G6 (model name: G60SD).

The Odyssey OLED G9 is a 49-inch ultra-wide curved gaming monitor with a DQHD (5,120×1,440) resolution and 32:9 aspect ratio, among other enhanced features. The Odyssey OLED G8 is Samsung's first 32-inch flat OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both displays have a 240Hz refresh rate and a GTG response time of 0.03ms. Meanwhile, the Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display that supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms GTG response time.

With VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 technology, the display delivers stunning detail and vivid colors no matter the game or content being displayed. Additionally, it supports AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro for ultra-smooth, low-latency HDR gaming.

All three new displays offer comprehensive physical connectivity, with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. Users will also enjoy increased comfort and convenience thanks to VESA mounting compatibility and a height-adjustable stand (HAS) that features tilt, swivel and tilt control points And the axis.
