Seagate is launching new modified SSD drives specifically for portable consoles and Microsoft Surface

Seagate Announced the launch of a new unit SSD For mobile devices, specifically handheld gaming consoles and Surface devices. It’s called SSD FireCuda 520N NVMe It has an M.2 2230-S2 form factor. It is designed for high-performance mobile devices such as Steam surface,hardware Microsoft Surfacehe ASUS ROG ALLY and Lenovo Legion Go, among others.

he FireCuda 520N It is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD available in 1TB and 2TB capacities. It has high-octane read/write speeds of up to 5000MB/s for the 2TB model and up to 4800MB/s for the 1TB model. Seagate claims the drive also delivers desktop gaming-level PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD performance, and is compatible with PCIe Gen3 and Gen2 slots.

As we continue to see the debut of the best portable gaming consoles, the market for smaller, better SSDs for these laptops continues to grow.
