The 4th La Rioja Community Health Conference, this Wednesday in Logroño – Spain

The Community Primary Care Activities Program (PACAP) of the Rioja Society of Family and Community Medicine (SrMFyC) and the Community Nursing Association (AEC) present the 4th La Rioja Community Health Congress, with the theme “Weaving Community Networks” on October 18 at the CIBIR and Auditorium of San Pedro Hospital, From 8:15 am to 7:15 pm.

The goals of these 2023 conferences are to: provide ongoing training on community health for health professionals and other organizations interested in health promotion; Facilitate a space for interdisciplinary meeting and reflection on community health development in La Rioja; Communicate experiences, good practices and projects that promote community health, promote health and enhance community participation in health, through cross-sector partnerships and community-based and beneficial guidance based on health assets.

To address the different contents of the conference, there will be participation in round tables and presentations by experts in the field of community health from La Rioja and other autonomous communities and at state level, such as Susana Aldecua (Galicia), Paola Salamanca (Extremadura), Jara Cubello (Ministry of Health) and Ruth Cotillo (La Rioja), among others.

In addition, during the conference, there will be a community exhibition where there will be information platforms about different health assets developed by different associations, institutions, companies, etc., in our autonomous community. Several communication tables will also be held on research and experiences in the field of community health, presented by health specialists and selected by the scientific committee of the conference.

Participation fees for this day include: attendance at the 4th Community Health Conference in La Rioja, materials needed for the day, healthy breakfast, business lunch, international coffee, and accreditation (request from the Commission on Continuing Education for Health Professions). Today’s capacity is 150 people.

The College of Nursing of La Rioja, the College of Physicians of La Rioja, the College of Social Work of La Rioja, Logroño Comunitario, Universidad Saludable, Rioja Acoge, the Logroño City Council and the Government of La Rioja collaborate on this day. From Rioja Health.
