The Council issues a tender for the Alcolea Health Center for 1.5 million euros – Córdoba Province

The profile of the contracting party with the Andalusian Health Services (SAS) tendered on Wednesday the works of the new health office in the peripheral neighborhood of Alcolea, in the capital of Córdoba, a facility funded 100 per cent by the Aid Fund for Recovery. for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (React-EU) through the simplified open procedure, for the amount of €1,571,069, including VAT, with the deadline for submission of proposals remaining open until January 25th.

As the Board of Directors reported in a note, the construction of this work, whose contract with UTE Firposa SL-Construalia XXI was formalized in October 2021, cannot be carried out due to the voluntary withdrawal of the project by the winning bidder A. after a few months. As explained by the Delegate for Health and Consumption of the Junta of Córdoba, María Jesús Botella, “This was the real reason that delayed the start of the works, since we had to put the project up for tender again,” is, “It was circumstances beyond the control of the Ministry of Health and Consumption and the regional commissariat, as one of our priorities has always been to provide the neighborhood with this health center.”

The future Alcolea Health Center will build 947 square metres, including space for immediate care and an emergency room. The venue will contain nine standard primary care consultations as well as a consultation of a multipurpose nature, with ten waiting units. It will also contain a pediatric service, which will be equipped with two consultation sessions, a lactation room and two waiting units. The sanitary equipment will also contain toilets, a sanitary waste room, a rubbish room and a storeroom. Staff will have their own lounge, as well as men’s and women’s changing rooms.

This center will also be equipped with a library and a meeting room. In addition, in the part designated for the administration there will be an office for citizens’ attention, a communication room and a small storeroom for office supplies. Boutella concluded his speech by noting that the new tender is “good news for the delegation, for the professionals who carry out their daily work in the current center and, of course, for the residents and users, who will soon be able to rely on the hadith and adapt it to the current conditions.”
