The Economics and Health Foundation presents the results and conclusions of a “study to assess and improve health services”

The President of the Foundation will open a forum on the 23rd at 10:30 am, Alberto Jimenez Artes then its vice president, Carlos Alberto Arenas Diazthe study coordinator, will present the report with Alberto Gonzalez GarciaMember of the Scientific Committee.

Next, each of the 11 areas analyzed will be presented: Measures of Care, Primary Care and Care Integration, Organization and Home Care, Information Management and New Technologies, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Care and Social and Health Care Coordination, Assessment and Measurement, Patient Safety and Head Human money, procurement, management, good governance and transparency.

The day will conclude at noon with the presentation of 5 cases of good practice presented by the autonomous communities of Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia, Extremadura and Murcia.

In the words of the President of the Economics and Health Foundation, Alberto Jimenez ArtesOne of the objectives of the Fundación Economía y Salud is to analyze and contribute to the improvement of the health sector in Spain. One of his projects is to carry out a complete diagnosis of the sector. And not only to make a diagnosis, but also to propose strategic lines, areas of action and concrete actions for improvement, widely agreed upon. On this occasion, and by publishing the “National Averages Report for 2022” document, the goal is to follow up the work done and continue working on implementing measures to improve the health system.

Fundación Economía y Salud intends for the project, contributions and conclusions to generate information, discussions and benchmarks among the various public administrations, showing the degree of implementation of the measures, existing obstacles and strategies to overcome them.
