The fifth season of “Stranger Things” was affected by the writers’ strike

Bad news for horror fans, Matt and Ross Duffer announced on their Twitter that production of Season 5 of… Weird things It will be delayed until the end of the writers’ strike organized by the WGA. The Duffer brothers announced this through their Twitter account, as part of their solidarity with their writers, who are demanding fairer treatment of their earnings from the major broadcasting companies. The Duffers join a long list of actors, directors and producers who support the Writers Guild strike, including Elizabeth Olsen (wandavision), Pete Davidson (King of Staten Island) and Rob Lowe (Austin Powers).
