The hacker who leaked GTA 6 was sentenced to life imprisonment in a psychiatric hospital

Over a year ago, Kurtag, a minor, accessed Rockstar Games’ internal communications system and obtained more than 90 videos of the video game GTA VI.Who blackmailed the company. In addition to being tried for extortion and fraud, he was also convicted of 12 other charges.

Kurtag was sentenced to an “indefinite hospitalization order”, as the BBC’s Joe Tiede reported. This means nothing less than that the intruder will remain locked up for life or until doctors deem he no longer poses a danger outside the facility.

It appears that the judge imposed this punishment on Kurtag based on the psychiatric reports he was subjected to, which confirmed that he was not remorseful at all, but on the contrary. The hacker “will continue to express his intention to return to cybercrime as soon as possible. He is very excited,” said these reports, which did not consider the hacker suitable for reintegration.
