The lottery pays out over €1,493 million in prizes for the 2022 Christmas Draw until December 29

State Lotteries and Betting (LAE) between January 22 and 1 paid out a total of €159,650,8200 in prizes for the 2022 Christmas Extraordinary Draw, which represents 74.02% of the draw prizes, according to LAE sources reporting Thursday to Europa Press.

Specifically, 769,724,460 euros were paid for the jackpots, which were collected from financial institutions. To this figure we must add 826,783,740 euros more in terms of prizes under 2,000 euros, which are collected at points of sale.

The extraordinary drawing of the Christmas Lottery distributed a total of €2,520 million in prizes in 2022, €112 million more than last year, when a total of €2,408 million in prizes were distributed.

Prizes of less than €2,000 per tenth or receipt can be collected exclusively at one of the 10,600 points of sale of the commercial lottery network. In this case, the prize can be collected in cash or through the Bizum system.

If the prize is equal to or more than 2000 euros, it will be collected from authorized financial entities whose list is available at lottery points of sale and on the official website (“www.loteriasyapuestas.es‘).

In the event that tickets are purchased on the official lottery online channel, the jackpots are paid by bank transfer to the bank account provided by the player in their gaming account after the draw. Smaller prizes will be deposited directly into the game account, provided they do not exceed the limits set, in which case the procedure will be the same as with larger prizes.

All Christmas Sweepstakes prizes may be redeemed until March 22, 2023, when the right to redeem Christmas Sweepstakes prizes expires three months after the day following the drawing. It is necessary to present the tenth or beautiful receipt in order to be able to receive the prize.
