The magical kingdom goes from Halloween to Christmas in the blink of an eye

Wreaths decorate the Main Street train station to greet guests as they enter the park, while within hours, after a night of skeletons and Halloween witches, wreaths were installed on all available surfaces.

This is the Christmas prelude to “the most magical celebration in the world” in honor of the resort’s 50th anniversary, according to Walt Disney World Resort.

On October 1, the company celebrated its 50th birthday, becoming the largest and most visited theme park in the world, in constant expansion and new experiences in its four thematic divisions.

The 18-month celebration centers around Cinderella’s castle in a converted Magic Kingdom garden, displaying gold emblems, shimmering ornaments, and a 50th-anniversary shield.

Each theme park is changed at night and so Cinderella’s castle lights up the Magic Kingdom in a “dazzling glow of frost glint and fairy magic”.

In the animal kingdom, “a warm light radiates from the tree of life as a flock of magical fireflies fly” to make way for nature’s magic. Walt Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends dressed up in “new outfits” for the occasion are hosting the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Disney World.

Disney World Fantasy is the largest theme park in the world. It also has water parks, golf courses, a sports center, hotels, hundreds of shops, restaurants and many entertainment venues.
