In less than an hour, two people required hospitalization due to COVID-19, so the Sonora Department of Health has reiterated its call for citizens to come for medical care due to symptoms of the virus.

Serious cases were detected in the Anticipa Arena Sonora unit, where two elderly men received emergency care at Hermosillo Hospital.
Hiram Valenzuela Jimenez, director of the Antipa Center in Arena Sonora, stated at the time that the number of care provided to the population increased significantly, during the third wave of infections, as well as the number of minors suspected of contracting the virus.
He stressed, “It is alarming to see an increase in interest in COVID-19 suspects, so we reiterate the call to go to the first symptoms of the disease.”

Valenzuela Jimenez reiterated the call to limit movement, continue to use face masks, wash hands, maintain a healthy distance, go for vaccination, and in the event of symptoms such as diarrhea, headache, fever, etc., go immediately to receive medical attention at the nearest health center or Anticipa Center
