The Monkey Island video game series will have a new chapter from its original creator

The game will be a sequel to the original chapters

The second game to be published by the developer

Terrible Toybox, the developer behind “Return to Monkey Island”, is a studio founded in 2013 by Ron Gilbert. The only project the studio has released so far is 2017’s Thimbleweed Park, a work that sought to recreate the style of storytelling and gameplay that the director helped establish when he was one of the leaders of LucasArts.
