The Pentagon leaks started earlier than thought

Jacques Teixeira, the 21-year-old accused of leaking classified Pentagon documents in a Discord chat group, reportedly began disclosing this information in February 2022 to a much larger virtual community.

So far it has been known that broadcasts made by a member of the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard (USA) began in October 2022 within the ‘Thug Shaker Central’ Discord group, which has 50 members.

According to online publications reviewer by New York times, One user, allegedly Teixeira, began publishing US intelligence material on the conflict in Ukraine shortly after the start of the Russian special military operation. It would have been done in a Discord group that had about 600 participants.

Information on deaths on the Russian and Ukrainian sides, the activities of the Russian intelligence services, as well as assistance provided to the Kiev authorities, was reportedly shared. The user claimed that the source of his data was the National Security Agency, the CIA and other US intelligence agencies.

According to the newspaper, it is not yet clear whether the US authorities are aware of these publications.
