The US Embassy in Cuba warns against rescheduling interview dates

The Consular Section of the US Embassy in Havana notified on Tuesday that it had rescheduled all interviews scheduled for January 3, 2023.

The US State Department said at the time that the increase is part of a broader expansion of the embassy’s functions to facilitate diplomatic and civil society engagement, and to provide safe, legal, and orderly immigration options for Cuban citizens.

Scheduled Immigrant Visa applicants for January 2023 appointments in Havana will begin receiving appointment notifications starting November 10, 2022. The Embassy stated that cases of applicants who provide a residence address within Cuba on their Forms DS-260, will automatically be transferred to Havana, unless they have She’s already scheduled for Georgetown.
