The women’s teams of Japan and New Zealand are preparing for the Olympics in Murcia

They will play two games in Nueva Condomina on May 31 and June 3

Japan and New Zealand’s women’s teams have chosen the Pinador Arena and the Nueva Condomina Stadium in Murcia to prepare for the next Olympics in Paris.

Both teams will play a doubleheader on May 31 and June 3 at 4:00 PM. Both tournaments are free to participants and will be televised in their respective countries.

Both Japan and New Zealand are regular customers of the Pinadar Arena, which is why they once again count on the cooperation of the Pinadar Complex to organize their last duties before the start of the Olympic Games in July.

Japan were drawn in Group C with Spain, Nigeria and Brazil, while New Zealand were drawn in Group A with France, Colombia and Canada.

The Japan women’s team gathered at the Pinatar Arena in November 2022 to face England, the recent European champions at the time.

For its part, New Zealand return to the Murcia region after their last match at the Pinatar Arena against Wales in October 2023.

The Pinatar Stadium has been a regular since its opening in 2013, a reference center in San Pedro del Pinatar for women’s football concentration and international matches.

Once again the Pinatar Arena continues to consolidate itself as the center of women’s international football, positioning the Murcia region as a global football destination.
