This is how Microsoft will highlight apps with AI in Windows 11

Microsoft is already testing the new Microsoft Store AI Center in Windows 11.

The idea of this new section within the Windows 11 Store is to highlight a range of apps using AI. And this is just one of the novelties being tested in the new build available to the Insiders Program.

In May, team Microsoft Announce a series of news focused on artificial intelligence. And one of them relates to a special section within the Microsoft Store that will make it easier for users to access apps using AI:

[…] A new curated section of the Microsoft Store where we’ll be promoting the best AI experiences created by the developer community and Microsoft. This is a space where we’ll educate customers on how to start and expand their AI journey, inspiring them to use AI in everyday ways to increase productivity, stimulate creativity, and so much more.

For example, if you are looking for AI tools for photo editing, this section of the store may help you to see all the options available for your Windows 11 computer, as you can see in the image above.

New features coming to Windows 11

This dynamic is currently being tested in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25905 from the Windows 11 Canary channel, so we’ll have to wait and see if it’s included in one of the future OS updates.

Another novelty that is being tested with this version is an improved version of Windows 11 icons in 3D style. On the other hand, let’s remember that the Microsoft Store also implements a price tracking function.
