The movie is being produced by Jigsaw Productions, Closer Media, Anonymous, and Double Agent, and has no possible release date yet.

Musk is undoubtedly a character whose life could be explored in a documentary.

Among the films of director Alex Gibney are documentaries Enron: The smartest guy in the room (2005) and Taxi to the dark side (2007) for which he won an Academy Award in 2008 and exposed the torture practices of the US military during the war in Afghanistan.
